About Tara

I worked for a daycare as a teacher assistant in a toddler class room, with children ranging in ages 18-24 months. I was responsible for the care and well being of 12-18 children a day, providing them with breakfast, lunch and snack, changing diapers as needed, and potty training as they got older. Daily activities included singing the alphabet, counting to 10, learning the days of the week and colors of the rainbow using various tools. We did art activities as well as open play, stories, and outside play. As teachers we had to complete lesson plans, individual portfolios and daily reports for each child.
