About Tara

I am originally from Charleston, SC, I have lived in Lexington area for the past 20 years and have been in child care for 24 years, working with children of all ages. My journey began in 2001, when I became a Mother's Helper. This experience led me to pursue a degree in Early Childhood Education. I have been a nanny for 21 years. In 2023, I took a position as a childcare director but found that I miss being a Nanny. Our days are filled with love, learning, and much laughter. I teach my children the basics: the alphabet, letter and number recognition, how to read and write their names, and education-based crafts. We go on field trips to expand their learning and also give them a chance to socialize with their age groups. From long, rainy days to beautiful spring weather, I seek to make the most of every opportunity and create memories to last a lifetime!
