Hi! My name is Tara, and I'm 27 years old and from Marshfield, MA. I've been working with children for the past 12+ years, but for the past 5 years I have been a teacher in Madrid, Spain for ages 3-12. I am home for the summer in between school years, and would love to help a family out for the summer! As a babysitter, I love to plan fun activities to help the kids make the most out of their summer. I love all things outdoors, arts and crafts, and music. I also have a beautiful pool and backyard I can take the kids to for hot summer days! I have worked for many families in the area, many for multiple years at a time, and can provide references as needed. The last few summers I especially have experience with babies and toddlers, but also have plenty of experience with elementary age kids with my teaching experience and years of babysitting. Tara helped with my son last year starting when he was 6 months and ended at almost 9 months when I was in New England visiting family for the summer. She was extremely engaging with him, paid close attention to detail with his schedule, and was amazing when it came to communication. As someone who is very picky with who watches my first child, I felt so lucky to have had Tara for the summer and wish she lived nearby to hire her year round as our full time nanny.
