About Taran

I love children & spending time in nature. Below is a bit about me: I was born and raised in San Francisco, went to undergrad in Western Mass, and now live in East Barnard. As the eldest among my siblings (with an age gap of 7 & 14 years), I helped to care for them more than a similar aged sibling might. This experience led me to part-time nanny during college, where in Amherst, MA I cared for a 4-year-old and her newborn infant brother. In undergrad, I also worked part time as a lifeguard. Post-grad I worked in graphic design full-time for five years, with clientele in tech & philanthropy. The past year I worked for a farm to table operation (Fable Farm) in Barnard. I also worked as interim assistant & designer for Green Mountain Linen (a fiber based org local to East Barnard Vermont.) My hobbies include anything outdoors (hiking, skiing, swimming, gardening). I am also interested in fiber crafts (knitting, crocheting, spinning) and reading.
