About Tara

I have over a decade of experience in child care. By the age of 13 I was babysitting for neighborhood families and found myself periodically nannying, babysitting, house-sitting, dog-watching (the whole 9 yards) ever since! I adore kids and the joy and unfiltered spunk they bring to life. I love being active and going outside for walks, play, pool, parks, sports, etc. I am a 2020 graduate of Towson University with a Bachelor's degree in Deaf Studies, followed by a 2-year study program focusing on ASL Interpreting earning my Interpreter's Certificate. I would love the opportunity to work with kids that are Deaf and/or learning ASL since that is where my expertise and passion lies, but not limited to! I was born and raised in Maryland, I temporarily relocated to St. Petersburg, FL but I am heading back home this summer! I am currently an ASL Interpreter in the K-12 setting, so while the kiddos are on summer break I am looking to nanny!
