For the past 2 months I have had the pleasure of working at an extreme sports camp for people on the autism spectrum. It ranged from serve, nonverbal campers to high functioning Asperger's. Here we worked as one on ones teaching with ABA. I also got to teach the campers how to rock climb and provided yoga for the campers. Before this I was a substitute teacher at a special needs school in NY and before that a nanny for an infant boy with infantile spasms. I am passionate about working with the special needs population.
