About Tara

I am a recent college graduate, with a bachelor's degree in anthropology that heavily focused on childhood growth and development. I love to facilitate crafty, outdoor, and education-based play and, working at the Children's Museum at Saratoga for the past five years, I have seen firsthand how important the intersection of learning and play is for the development of little ones. I spend my free time reading and enjoying fiber arts-hobbies I would love to share my love for with kiddos if they're interested. I have experience tutoring students in grades 5-10 in math, in addition to my experience around infants, toddlers, and pre-schoolers at the museum. Born and raised in Saratoga, I adore and prioritize local communities and history, most especially all of the amazing museums and parks in the region. I am comfortable with most pets, driving, and assisting with homework/tutoring. My schedule is very lenient-I am able to do before and/or after school.
