About Tara

Nurturing young minds and fostering a safe, joyful environment is my passion. With 4 years of experience and a current role within the Abilene School District, I am dedicated to making a positive impact on every child I support. I am currently pursuing my Teaching Certificate to further enhance my ability to guide and educate. My approach is patient and calm, ensuring that safety remains my top priority while caring for up to five children. I love crafts, engaging kids through outdoor sports, puzzles, and games. I am happy to provide swimming supervision during outings, but children must demonstrate they can swim safely, or will be required to wear a safe flotation device at all times! I prioritize clear communication by providing daily written reports, verbal updates at pickup, and text messages with photos throughout the day. I am comfortable enforcing household rules and am happy to assist with carpooling. I look forward to becoming a trusted partner in your family's daily life.
