About Tara

I had two remarkable Weimaraners -- Balla and Chief, who were not only beautiful dogs but extraordinary companions. From them came Malachi, their baby boy, whom I kept and raised. Watching Malachi grow from birth into a loyal, intelligent, and devoted dog created a connection that only comes from being there from the very beginning. Later, I welcomed two Alaskan Malamutes, Ella and Hank, into my life. They were powerful, affectionate, and full of personality. When Ella passed away from cancer, it was devastating. Hank followed just a year later at only 10 years old. Losing them so close together was heartbreaking, but it reinforced how precious our time with animals truly is. My late husband was a K-9 handler for the State Police and he had 3 Malinois during his tenure.
