I have been working with the elderly for the past five years. I truly enjoy doing this kind of work, and I find it very rewarding to be able to help people continue living in their home. I have found it can take time for the elderly to get used to someone new, and I have learned that patience is key. I'd describe my personality as caring, funny, patient. I love the one on one with someone, that way I can spend quality time with them. I like caring for seniors because they always have the best stories to tell. It's so very interesting listening about their life, and how different things are now. I started caring for seniors 5 years ago, when I started working for the VNA in New London. One thing you should know about me is that I truly care about treating your family member with the utmost respect and care.
