About Tara

Animals have always had a special place in my heart, but dogs especially. There's a bond there that's hard to explain, I just genuinely love spending time with them. I have a senior rescue of my own named Butter, who came to me as a fearful, challenging little guy. With time, patience, and a lot of love, he grew into the most confident, sweet dog. That experience taught me so much about working with anxious or difficult animals, by meeting them where they are, building trust slowly, and letting them set the pace. Now that he's older, I've also learned what it means to care for a senior dog, by reading their signals, honoring their slower rhythm, and making sure they feel safe and comfortable above everything else. I offer walks, drop-in visits, dog sitting, and overnight care. Whether your pet is young and energetic, shy and nervous, or a wise old soul who just needs gentle company, I get it and I'll treat them like my own.
