Hello! I'm Tanya, a dedicated occupational therapist with over 20 years of experience. My passion is empowering families, especially seniors, to live independently with the highest quality of life. After thriving in occupational therapy, I'm transitioning to private care to provide personalized, one-on-one support, moving away from the fast-paced clinic environment where I managed up to 12 patients daily. My expertise includes transfer and mobility training, home safety, and activities of daily living( such as bathing, dressing, and light homemaking tasks) . While I'm not a nurse, I'm skilled in monitoring vital signs, managing medications, and communicating effectively with families, doctors, and nurses. I have extensive experience supporting clients with neurological conditions (like strokes or Parkinson's), orthopedic issues, and chronic diseases.
