Making a difference in someone's life is what I strive for every day. With 34 years of experience providing care, IAlmost 2yrs given medicationin a long term care facility, I'm passionate about supporting adults' and seniors' independence and well-being. I offer respite care, personal care, light housekeeping, meal preparation, mobility assistance, and support for those with dementia. I also assist with errands, shopping, and medical management. I adapt to changing routines, de-escalate stressful situations, and incorporate memory care activities. I am patient, compassionate, friendly, and approachable. I understand the importance of connecting with care recipients by understanding their preferences and personal history. I communicate with families through written daily reports, and I always follow their preferred method. I have some college education, a car, and I'm comfortable with pets. Knowing I can bring comfort and peace of mind to your family makes my work truly rewarding.
