I've had 20 years experience as a preschool teacher and family assistant. I'm a nanny on call Mary Poppins meets Miss Frizzle for all! On rainy days we might blow dry crayons on high heat to create wax sculpture on paper. With music. On sunny days we might be exploring West Rock or at the beach in December. I'm not opposed to television and media, if that is part of your routine and will be delighted to watch and discuss age appropriate, educational and/or non/fiction film/programs with children. Otherwise? Books, books, books! And I even do the voices.

Tanya is incredible. Tanya first came into our lives 5 years ago as our oldest child's preschool teacher. She has worked for us also as a family assistant in the years following, handling child care, school pickups, cooking for the family, cleaning, even grocery shopping. Tanya has been a gift to our family and anyone lucky enough to be able to hire her will not regret it. An early childhood education teacher to her core, Tanya can't help but expand on your children's education with captivating stories, games, nature adventures and more. I credit her with our children's love of learning and passionate curiosity about the world. She is an absolute jewel and I couldn't recommend her more.
