About Tanja

With over 25 years of experience caring for children, I'm passionate about fostering their growth and development. I have a lot of experience with children and adults with cognitive disabilities, Down Syndrome, and autism. My goal is to make a positive impact on each child's life while supporting families. I am patient, calm, creative, friendly, and approachable. I'm comfortable caring for one child aged 4 and older. I communicate with parents using written daily reports or their preferred method. I am very comfortable enforcing household rules. I enjoy playing outdoor sports, board games, crafts, painting, drawing, and puzzles with children. I have taken Early Child Development Coursework and have current CPR Training. I'm happy to help with cooking, meal preparation, carpooling, and light housekeeping. I possess a California Special Driver Certification. I look forward to discussing how I can bring my skills and enthusiasm to your family!
