About Tania

I can’t say enough good things about Tania; she deserves more than 5 stars. Tania was reliable, trustworthy, and never said no. Tania was my 97-year-old mother’s at-home caretaker for the last 2 years as she transitioned from being mostly independent, needing help with housework, needing help bathing, becoming incontinent, bedridden, hospice care, and finally passing. My mother lived alone and valued her independence (i.e. “she is one tough cookie”). My mother initially resisted the concept of needing help, but Tania’s sweet demeanor and industriousness won her over where other caretakers failed. The house was spotless (even by my mother’s perfectionist standards), she shopped for mother, ferried her to events, prepared meals, and provided companionship. She gave us peace of mind knowing my mother was being well taken care of as I lived over an hour away, I often traveled, and my siblings were still working. Tania became part of the family, and her care was informed by her strong religious faith. She also comes as part of a team; other family members were available to help with care or to perform handyman services.
