With over a decade of experience in education, I offer a personalized tutoring approach that goes beyond rote memorization. My journey began as a math tutor throughout high school and college, followed by six years as a professional Science teacher. I have taught small groups of kindergarten students at the library and worked as a hydroponic greenhouse teacher to elementary school and high school students, for a semester each respectively. Currently, I serve as a Hydroponics Curriculum Specialist, which gives me a deep understanding of how to break down complex concepts into digestible, engaging lessons. I specialize in Math, Science, and English as a New Language (ENL) tutoring, utilizing Project-Based Learning and Social Emotional Learning (SEL) techniques to help students move past "learning blocks" and build genuine confidence. My goal is to provide a supportive, intentional environment where students feel empowered to ask questions and grow as well-rounded learners.
