I'd describe my personality as intentional, patient, and kind. I love working with children because it's beautiful to watch them learn; they constantly remind me how wonderful the world can be through their lens of creativity and imagination. I have over a decade of experience with kids, starting as a math tutor at 16 and spending six years as a formal/informal science teacher for K-12, and I now serve as a curriculum specialist. I am looking for a role that allows me to apply my teaching background in a more informal, flexible setting. I believe children thrive when care is curated to their holistic needs, helping them grow into well-rounded, balanced people. I am deeply committed to Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) and Project-Based Learning. I believe learning happens everywhere, not just academically. In my spare time, I enjoy writing, dancing, making music, and being with loved ones. I look forward to bringing my professional training and passion for education to your family.
