I have spent over 30 years in education and I prioritize working to the learning style of each child. My goal is for children to enjoy learning and to become critical thinkers. I taught in the classroom in CO and have a (now expired) teaching certificate. I then spent over 20 years educating my own 4 children and working with children in our community. Working with multiple ages and learning styles at the same time encouraged me to be flexible & willing to tailor lesson plans to individual needs. I am an effective communicator and work to involve the child in the learning process at an appropriate level. Learning is a lifelong process and if children enjoy it and feel successful at it, they will succeed ! I am also a working artist (ceramics) and I bring creativity to every aspect of education.
