About Tamra

Please see my Senior Care bio for my history and current work. I spent several years volunteering for WCC, a nonprofit that raises service dogs for our military veterans. I monitored the whelping boxes, supported early training for social interaction and sensory exposure, fostered, boarded, and trained for commands and appropriate behaviors. Additionally, I fostered a rescue litter of puppies from Canine Humane Network. I've done some pet sitting for friends and neighbors, at no charge. I currently have one cat but I don't believe he is receptive to making new 4-legged friends. Feathered friends, maybe! I can stay over, or drop-in for care. Through my exposure to dog training and human behavioral training (similar cause and effect), I understand well, the impact of delivering/withholding attention in response to desired/undesired behaviors.
