About Tammy

Hi! I am a college trained career Nanny since 1991. I have also raised three successful children of my own and am currently my 14-month-old granddaughter's favorite person! I do not mind commuting for the right job. I live on the Weaverville side of Marshall and commute for all the things. I moved here from NY, where commuting is part of life. I would describe myself as someone who takes on life with my whole heart. I like to be in the moment. I am playful and a natural teacher. Education through play is my approach to children. I do lean towards a Montessori/Waldorf approach with Gentle caregiving (in its truest form, not what people assume it is) as my guide. I am a nature based person and outside time in most all weather, matters to me. I think children benefit greatly from this. I am a candid communicator and thrive best in a relationship with parents that are kind and communicative as well.
