About Tammy

Hello! My name is Tammy and I have 5+ years of tutoring experience for ages 5-18. I specialize in Math, Writing (cursive as well), Grammar, Foreign Language (Russian and Ukrainian), English, Creative Writing, Music (Guitar), Film Studies and Reading. My main goal is for students to think critically, for themselves and help them discover what they are best at and focus on that. Each student has their own strengths and unique traits. I'd love to bring that in them by making learning not just fun, but educational as well. Each individual has their own learning strategy, whether it is hands-on practice, visual or auditory. I prioritize open communication with my students and their families to ensure we meet goals effectively. I am comfortable meeting either online or in-person. My reward as a tutor comes from student's academic achievement and when they gain confidence to help them with their future career.
