About Tammy

Hi my name is Tammy. I'm 46 years old and a single mom to a 19-year-old daughter. I recently moved to Maryland from Delaware where I was a Highly Qualified Paraprofessional for the Delaware Autism Program for 15 years. In my 15 years I worked alongside countless teachers, speech pathologists, psychologists, behavior analysts, occupational therapists, and physical therapists. I have been trained in PECS, (Picture Exchange Communication Systems), voice output devices, Applied Behavior Analysis, and finding functions to undesirable behaviors. I've also developed alternative responses for those behaviors. I am also well versed in prompts verbal, and non verbal and have modified many lessons according to each student's functioning level.
