My name is Tammy and I've been a nanny for over 15 years . I truly enjoy spending my time with children . I will provide a fun filled day with age appropriate activities to assist in their growth and development .
I have earned my CDA in Early Childhood Education. I also have my CPR & First Aid with AED . 
I offer deeply attentive, developmentally grounded care for children of all ages, from newborns through adolescence. With emphasis on newborns and first time parents . I've also taught Universal PreK for Head Start with 3&4-year-olds . 
 I'm searching for a great family that's looking for a long term nanny . Someone who will provide a caring and nurturing bond with their children .

Extremely unprofessional. Committed to a one week stint for our daughter when we had clearly said how important it was for us and we signed off on it as well. Cancelled a day before leaving us without any backup.

Tammy was wonderful with our children . She was our nanny for weekends . I would highly recommend her. 

She asked to reschedule both our phone interview and in person interview 2 hours before the scheduled time. She never reached back out to reschedule the in person interview, just left us hanging.

Tammy was a pleasant addition to our household while caring for my son when I returned to work.  He was two months premature and I felt confident leaving him in her care. She kept detailed notes of his daily feeding and sleeping schedule and he thrived under her watch. She was flexible with our ever changing schedules and often was able to accommodate additional days and stay late when needed. Tammy also is great with pets and our dogs adored her.  I would hire her again if I moved back into the area. 

Tammy was our nanny for 9 months. I was a first time mom with twins and although I was a stay at home mom, when my kids were 4 months old, I realized I needed some extra help. When Tammy was here, she was amazing!  She was so loving and caring and the kids immediately connected with her. She had the perfect balance of having fun yet was good at setting limits and being firm when needed. Tammy was a wealth of information. As a first time mom, I had many questions and concerns and Tammy was both reassuring and informative.  She knew milestones and what to expect at each month and as such, she engaged the kids in activities to challenge them and help develop age appropriate skills. In additions, she had no qualms doing light housework and laundry to help keep my house in order. She even helped with meal preparation when needed.  Most importantly, I trusted Tammy implicitly and the kids absolutely loved her. We were very satisfied to her impact. She visited us a year after she left and the kids remembered her and were so ecstatic to see her and play with her again. They've been talking about her since that visit. I highly recommend Tammy.

Tammy N. was nanny to our two boys for some years, and we would happily hire her again.
She was always kind but firm, and very reliable, enabling me to work at my own job.
Tammy safely drove the boys (and sometimes me) to outings and appointments, and organized 
their days to make sure their needs were met.  Our youngest had many medical restrictions 
at the time, and she followed very detailed instructions for his care, feeding and cleaning (he was 
also a very picky eater, and she had a nice touch with helping to expand the number of foods
he would accept).  She was very kind and helpful as well, with his toilet learning.  Tammy took
care of kitchen and laundry chores related to the boys' care and always gave me good detail on
how their day had gone.  The boys benefited from her example of gracious manners and respect 
in private and public.  Both boys love her.  I highly recommend Tammy N. as a nanny.

Tammy has been with us for 15mo, since our daughter was 4weeks old. In just a few words: Tammy has been amazing. She is really experienced: she gave us many, many advice that helped us taking care of our baby, she would give us ideas as of what to expect, which products to consider, etc. It was a great help as our daughter was gassy and fussy for few months. She is really devoted: from the very beginning she has been engaging our daughter in many interesting and creative plays that clearly accelerated our daughter's development (our daughter was running on her own by 11mo). She also proposed new activities for us to consider. She works with you: you explain your expectations and set rules you want your baby to follow, she makes that happen (no kids spoiling). She is responsible: follows rules and regulations, and will make sure that you do not forget about them too. Even though we did not expect her to clean the house, she would always have it things in place such that we could spend more time with our little one. Finally, she is a cheerful person: our daughter is constantly laughing and this is in big part thanks to Tammy's attitude. Feel free to contact me if you have any specific questions.
