About Tammy

Hello my name is Tammy I am 56 years young, married for 35 years with 4 adult children. I have a strong belief in God and love music. I am creative in the kitchen and enjoy sitting outside with a great book. In my free time you'll find me at the river! My first job was at an assisted care facility with over 50 residents. I found an instant family in many of them. I helped facilitate memory boosting games, arts and crafts. I enjoyed hearing their life experiences and connecting on a personal level. As time passed, I desired a more 1 on 1 environment. I have spent the last year caring for Nancy, a 79-year-old woman with Parkinson's. Nancy required 24 hour care, I lived with her between 48-72 hours per week. I assisted with all her needs including transportation to all appointments and care of 2 dogs. I would love the opportunity to care for your loved one! I also offer 24 hour care for a time when you need to be away from home.
