About Tammy
Experience: 10 yrs
Provided full time care over a 10 year period for my Dad and then my Mother during terminal illnesses. Manged their care at home and cared for their two cats while providing them the the love, support and dignity they deserved. After my Mother passed, I spent two and a half years taking care on my friend's sister who had terminal cancer. I provided great care for this woman and I believe I really made a big difference in the quality of her life. Finally I recently had to say good bye to my last patient who passed at 94 y/o right after bringing her back from her hair dresser. She was a wonderful woman but required a great deal of assistance due to her age and condition. She loved to go to see family and also to get her nails done. We made sure this happened on a regular basis!!

We feel grateful that Tammy agreed to care for my husband's grandparents. They suddenly found themselves needing 24/7 care in September of 2018. The home care agency that was hired could not fill all the shifts especially during the weekends and holidays. Tammy was willing to fill those spots and has been an excellent member of the team. She assisted both with their ADL's such as eating, bathing, dressing, and mobility. She cooks meals, does house cleaning, grocery shopping, and orders supplies. She took tasks off my plate by helping with appointments and managing medications. She has filled in for other caregivers when needed. She also considers her clients self-care. She gives manicures, brings books to read, plans birthday parties, and bakes her "famous" scones. Grampy died in December 2019 at 96 yrs old. It has been difficult for Grammy (94 yrs old). Tammy has been a great support for her and strives to create a stimulating environment. I would highly recommend Tammy.
