Retired to take care of my "honorary" aunt for 12 years with Alzheimer's. We moved her into our home to insure a quality of life and respect. After her passing in 2022, I went on to take care of a physician that I worked with 40 years prior that had been diagnosed with the same awful disease in his home until recently at his family's request. I am not ready to quit working and helping yet, but do not want to be in an office all day. I would much rather offer my help to family's in need and help keep loved ones at in the comfort of their homes.
