I have over 25 years experience in the early childcare field. As early as 15 years old I started working as a "helper" in a preschool until I turned 16 when I could become a teachers aide. I attended Holyoke Community College where I took Early Childhood courses and became EEC teacher certified and then went on to become infant/toddler certified as well in 2006. I have experience working with children ages infant- teens, experience with early intervention, have cared for twins, and have cared for a child with type 1 diabetes. I look at being a nanny as part of my life and not just a job. I have a high level of patience with lots of love and compassion for children. I have the ability to plan age appropriate activities that are a fun way to learn. I have no problem acting silly, getting dirty while maintaining appropriate structure and guidance.

Tammy joined our family when our youngest was just three months old and has lovingly cared for all three of our children ever since. From the very beginning, she made their safety and well-being her top priority. We never hesitated to leave them in her care, whether at home or on outings—her trustworthiness, responsibility, and vigilance gave us complete peace of mind. Tammy is a warm, loving person who immediately became part of our family. She went above and beyond to make each of our children feel special—celebrating birthdays, attending sports and dance recitals, and always bringing joy into our home. Her nurturing spirit has helped our children grow with confidence and security. Professionally, Tammy is outstanding. She communicates clearly and respectfully, honors agreements and boundaries, and is always punctual and reliable. We guaranteed her hours, and she never took advantage—her integrity is unmatched. Having worked with two nannies before Tammy, we know how high our standards are, and she has exceeded them in every possible way. Parting ways with her as a full-time caregiver was one of the hardest decisions we’ve made, but it was time for our youngest to transition to full-time pre-K. We will always consider Tammy part of our family and hope to stay connected for years to come.
