About Tammie

I contacted Tammie to clean my house. She came over and I discussed with her that I wanted a thorough job done. I told her I would pay her for every hour worked, that I wanted her to take her time and get everything really clean. We agreed on $20/hour and set up a schedule for her to clean my home. Within an hour I received this text: "Hi Dennis, After seeing your home. The square (sic) footage and all that you want done. I will have to charge at least 50.00/hr Which is still cheaper than a Maid service. Let me know if this works for you.". I don't follow this logic. The size of the house shouldn't matter because I'm paying per hour worked. The difficulty of what I'm asking also shouldn't matter as I'm paying per hour worked. She may be the greatest cleaner in the world, but $50/hour for house cleaning is outrageous. You be the judge.
