About Tami

Is your child behind in reading? Do they dread or avoid reading? Maybe I can help. I am a former school paraprofessional and computer lab teacher, and I genuinely enjoy helping children learn to love reading--or at least grow to enjoy it a lot more. I know how overwhelming fast-paced school deadlines can be for a student who is struggling. My goal is to provide a quiet, patient space where we can slow down and just read together. I am good at helping students practice their reading skills, decode their assignments, and build up their confidence at a pace that actually works for them. I am also available to help your child get through their daily homework assignments so they stay on track with school. If your child just needs a calm, supportive adult to sit down with them and help them practice the fundamentals, I would love to help.
