About Tami

My name is Tami and I am a mother to a 13-year-old daughter and a 34-year-old son. My experience with children began in the 1990s when my son was born. Being a full time stay at home mother for him, I started my own in home daycare for 5 years until he started school. My daughter was born much later in life and I was lucky enough to stay home with her the first 6 years until she went to school. I have currently been working full time doing dental insurance but I am wanting to cut back to part time work and help other families with childcare as I know it can be difficult with both parents working. My background as a mother is my main reference, raising 2 healthy amazing kids. My daughter does like to play with younger kids and is wanting to gain some babysitting experience so she may come with me to help babysit from time to time.
