I provided full time care to elderly family member with advancing vascular dementia and congestive heart failure requiring assistance with all activities of daily living including, but not limited to: help with dressings, grooming, walking, eating, taking medications and communicating needs. Monitors changes in physical, emotional and cognitive status and initiates actions to address, such as; changes to diet, physical activity, and personal interactions. Provides compassionate companionship, transportation to appointments, outings, and consistent encouragement and support. Organized and tracked groceries and supplies, housekeeping, laundry, researching answers to challenging technical and operational problems, interacted with contractors/vendors to negotiate the family's desired outcomes.
