About Tamia

I'd describe my personality as compassionate, patient and dependable I like caring for seniors because I'm naturally patient and compassionate, and I connect well with seniors, especially those dealing with memory loss or health challenges. While I've worked in healthcare for many years, I began focusing specifically on caring for seniors about three years ago as a nurse aide. That's when I developed strong hands-on experience and a deeper passion for supporting the elderly. I started when I was 20 with my great grandfather first then caring for my grandma before both past away. In my spare time, I attend college for nursing currently. I take the time to understand their needs, especially in hospice or long-term care, and I focus on keeping them comfortable, respected, and at peace. I'm big on preserving dignity, no matter their condition. Experience with Dementia & Memory Care I work very well with patients who have Alzheimer's and dementia.
