About Tamela

When tutoring a student on new information or difficult information, it is important for me to achieve two things. Those two things are: ensuring that the knowledge is retained and ensuring that the student is confident enough in their new knowledge first future tasks. Helping students has a special place in my heart. Growing up, my younger sister had difficulty grasping concepts in school. This was unusual for me seeing as how I was the oldest and had always done well in school. As I saw her face her struggles, I knew that there had to be something that I could do. So at the young age of 7 years old, I began doing all that I can to help her get ahead. I tutored her in Reading, Beginner level math, and other subjects. She is now in high school and far ahead of the game! She is definitely the foundation for this passion!
