I began this profession when I had to take care of my grandmother, so I continued to stay in this field. I have worked with elders with disabilities and those that had been diagnosed with Alzheimer's and dementia. In addition, I have also had an connection to my elders anywhere I go, I can spark a conversation and enjoy the time.
