About Tamar

I love kids and have loved kids my whole life. I graduated with a major in Sociology and a minor in Education from the University of California Santa Cruz. I aspire to work with children whether as a kindergarten teacher or an outdoor educator incorporating writing and creative expression. I love all sorts of arts and crafts and have previously been a Sunday school teacher for 3 years. There I taught the 5-7-year-old kids about life lessons, integrated art, creative games, and more. I also worked for an organization called Life Lab teaching kids science curriculum in the garden. I am constantly baby sitting my younger cousins ages 1-10 and my nephew who is almost 2 years old. I am very comfortable being with many kids at one time and am able to problem-solve quite quickly as I am from a big family! I have lots of experience caring and loving for many different ages of children and have worked with over 15 families. I absolutely love spending time with young ones!
