Hello! My name is Tamara Wach and I am a lifelong resident of Springfield. I have 2 children, a son who is 26, and a daughter who is 32. As my son was growing up I worked in district 186 and the Chatham school district. I worked as a playground supervisor, cafeteria supervisor, and a bus monitor. I also helped teachers in various office duties. Later on I worked as an aide to special needs children at Chatham school district. The past 11 and a half years I have worked in daycare with several different age groups. I am currently working with infants and I love it. I think children can learn at any age so I feel it is important to read, communicate, and even sing with them on a regular basis. Since these are the most formative years I believe this time period is extremely beneficial in helping them grow and learn as much as possible.
