Tamara was my wife's caregiver for a year and a half, up until my wife passed away. Tamara mostly worked the overnight shifts (12 hours) but also worked some day shifts when we needed the extra help. My wife had a serious movement disorder (MSA) which required lots of physical help. Tamara was very capable at transfers, dressing, grooming, bathroom needs, and making and serving meals. She is resourceful and strong-both physically and emotionally. While my wife's condition affected her physical abilities, it did not diminish her mental capabilities. Tamara was a great companion to her as well. I often heard them laughing together and having conversations. During the day times they sometimes played cards together, or Tamara would help her on the computer or with the TV. Tamara is a great caregiver: hardworking, capable, caring and a wonderful person.
