I worked at an all special needs school for 3 years, and I loved every minute of it. It was certainly a joy being able to work with children with autism, down syndrome, spina bifida, cerebral palsy, hearing impaired, and many other disabilities. I learned so much from the students and their parents, and I see that there is a huge need for babysitters in this community. Not only that, but they also need advocates to stand up for them and be their voice. I want to be that advocate for them and that sitter for their parents when they need a break.
