About Tamala

I'd describe my personality as caring, compassionate, and patient. I like caring for seniors because I enjoy spending time with older folks, and recognize there's a big need for caring individuals to do so. I'm looking for a job that is local to Sonoma and is part time or less. I started caring for seniors when the pandemic began and I was laid off from my event director job. At that time I began to care for my mother and father who have both since passed. I currently care for a good friend who is my roommate. In my spare time I like to write for, The Potrero View, a neighborhood newspaper in San Francisco, paint, garden, and spend time with my roommate who is also an artist. One thing you should know about me is, for the last six years I've been focused almost entirely on senior care. The hours I give care have recently decreased and so I am looking to add hours by helping someone who is local to Sonoma needing light care. My skills include listening, cleaning, and cooking.
