About Talia

Hello! I recently graduated from Fordham's School Psychology graduate program, and I am hoping to work with children and families this summer to provide help with childcare, tutoring, and any odd job that needs to get done! As a recent graduate of a school psychology program, I have insight into how to best support students in accessing their curriculum. I specialize in creating supportive, patient learning environments that include needed supports for elementary and middle school students. I have experience drafting and applying Individualized Education Programs (IEP) and Student accommodation plans (504 plans) into the classroom setting, and this experience will help to tailor my approach to tutoring your child. For example, I can break down complex concepts into manageable steps and connect lessons to personal interests to build confidence and concept generalization. I am eager to help your student grow, and I look forward to supporting their journey toward academic success!
