About Talia

Hi! My name is Talia, and I love working with children. As the oldest sibling, I've helped care for my two younger brothers, who are now 10 and 8 years old, since they were born. Through that experience, I've become comfortable managing daily routines, helping with homework, preparing meals, and keeping kids engaged in fun and meaningful activities. In addition to caring for my brothers, I taught science and cooking classes for children ages 6-10 through the iCook After School Program. I enjoyed creating a positive learning environment, encouraging, and helping children build confidence while having fun. I'm patient, dependable, and energetic, and I enjoy building genuine connections with the families I work with. I'm also comfortable around pets, as I've grown up with dogs and cats and currently have a cat of my own. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive, and fun environment where children feel comfortable, parents feel confident, and everyone has a positive experience.
