At the forefront of my caring for those with intellectual developmental disabilities is family. I have close family members with neurodiverse diagnoses. For the past two years, I've had the pleasure of working professionally caring for an elderly woman with autism. Working and engaging with ones who need a little more support, patience, and understanding because of developmental differences is something that I'm very passionate about.
