About Talia

I have nearly 10 years experience as an environmental educator for elementary school age learners in various settings, at overnight summer camps, aboard the tall ship Clearwater on the Hudson River, in classroom programs for the Clearwater, as a homeschool and micro-school teacher, and as a teaching assistant at the Hitchcock Center for the Environment. I am certified as a Wilderness First Responder. I have experience leading crafts, music, science, writing, outdoor recreation, and overnight trips. I speak conversational Spanish and have experience as a high school Spanish peer tutor. I am deeply invested in creating and guiding experiences that facilitate meaningful personal growth and creative, holistic learning for young people. Prior starting graduate school in poetry this spring, I would love to work with your family to provide childcare, tutoring, and light organization/housework/odd jobs.
