About Tajyhia

Hi there! My name is Tajyhia, but everyone calls me TJ. I'm currently a sophomore at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) and a proud Virginia Beach native. I have a genuine passion for caring for and supporting children. During high school, I volunteered as a teacher's assistant for two years through the Virginia Teachers for Tomorrow program, where I gained valuable experience working with students in the classroom. Currently, I work as a Camp Specialist, and I have also served as a Camp Counselor. These roles have allowed me to create fun, engaging, and safe environments for children while helping them learn, grow, and build confidence. I am CPR certified and licensed in child care, and I always strive to provide dependable, compassionate care that families can trust.
