About Taia

Hi! My name is Taia (pronounced "Tay-ah"), and I love working with kids. I'm 21 years old and currently a senior at the University of Utah, graduating this May with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a minor in Human Development and Family Studies. I plan to attend graduate school next fall to pursue a Master's in Social Work. I'm the youngest of seven siblings, and now that all of my siblings are parents, I've grown up surrounded by kids of all ages. Caring for children comes naturally to me, and I truly enjoy creating a safe, nurturing, and fun environment. I'm very active and love being outdoors. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, backpacking, reading, crafts, and creating art. One of my biggest values is education, and I love encouraging curiosity and a love for books in the children I care for. I'm dependable, patient, and attentive, and I would love the opportunity to support your family and care for your kiddos!
