My career in caring began in 1994 as a STNA in a nursing home, followed by home health care while beginning and training for a career in EMS. I spent 15yrs working on an ambulance before a career ending injury. After returning to and finishing school I worked in the Crisis field caring for youth and families involved in crisis, until an opportunity presented itself and I stepped inside the Emergency Room. After several years of caring for others inside the ER I have decided that it was time to slow down and go back to providing individual care in the homes of those who require assistance, which also allows me the time to help my own aging parents.
