About Tabita

Tabita has been an incredibly loving, engaging, knowledgeable and responsible caretaker to our daughter for the last year (from the age of 5.5 months - 18 months). When she started, Tabita got up to speed very quickly on our daughter’s routines and needs and we felt comfortable trusting her to care for our daughter independently. It was very easy for us to communicate with each other - Tabita always listened to our concerns and desires when it comes to caring for our daughter, and she has always been respectful, conscientious and attentive to our needs as a family. For example - we didn’t want any caretaker to use their phone around our daughter, and she has always respected that. Tabita has a keen understanding of what little children need at different ages and helped us stay proactive about planning age-specific routines and activities for her–everything from helping with tummy time at first, helping to make purees and then with baby-led weaning, taking Kiara to music, storytime, gym, and playdates so she could socialize with other kids. She brought all her love and effort in her care for our daughter, and we know she is better off for having spent these precious early months with Tabita. Besides being a wonderful caretaker, Tabita was always willing to help with tasks at home during naptimes, including doing laundry for our daughter’s clothes, doing food prep, cleaning and sanitizing baby bottles, dishes, toys, mats, surfaces, and the stroller, and emptying the dishwasher for us. Tabita’s help with these tasks saves us so much time and allows us to focus on spending more quality time with our daughter. Tabita is a wonderful, caring, dedicated caretaker. Most important, her focus is on ensuring the child is happy and well-cared for.
