About Sylvia

I'd describe my personality as fun, dependable, and kind. I like working with kids because each child is different in their own way and I like being able to connect with them and bring them joy. I feel strongly that children should be treated with kindness, compassion, and understanding. Since I am studying to be a pediatric nurse, I want to surround myself with all the joys of children to experience what makes them happy and facilitate their learning and growth. I started working with kids when I was 16 years old. I taught 4-5-year-olds at dance class. I did this job for two school years. I worked in the drop in care center when I was 18 years old, and I served as a teacher assistant at the summer vacation camp. I also previously was a full time nanny for a 8-month-old baby. My skills include keeping the children safe, being compassionate, and keeping the children engaged.
