About Sylvia

Hi, I'm Sylvia! I have experience working with children ranging from four months to 14 years old in a variety of settings, including school classrooms, visual and performing art summer camps, swim lessons and nannying plus extensive babysitting for my now 7-year-old niece and two 5-year-old nephews. I graduated in 2021 with a bachelor's degree in film and sociology. With this background, I can support schoolwork in reading, writing, and early elementary school math, while also encouraging creativity through activities such as fashion, sculpture, drawing, painting, and music. Additionally, I am a certified lifeguard and can teach your child(ren) how to swim, if desired. Beyond childcare, I am happy to assist with household tasks such as grocery shopping, laundry, cleaning, and general organization. I am fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and the Flu.
